Description

Accredited Platform Specialist
An APS (Accredited Platform Specialist) can also verify that a device is operating "as shipped from the factory". Since APS technicians work on one device and one technical issue at a time under the direction of a higher skilled individual (who, for example, creates configurations and does troubleshooting), APS certificate holders should recognize the limits of their certificate's scope and know when to use appropriate escalation procedures.

Audience
Field repair engineers who perform basic troubleshooting, repair, installation, configuration, and/or verification on HP Networking products (including hardware and internal operating system) to operational level as from factory. The scope of this certification covers HP Networking Switches up to Layer 3, HP Networking wireless products (Access Points and Wireless Controllers), HP Networking WAN routers. This course is to new and experienced field engineers who need to become familiar with wired and wireless HP Networking hardware and software.
