2520 Switch Series to reduce costs and improve productivity. Simplifying setup, deployment and management, the 2520 series includes a robust Web interface and four switches with 8- or 24-ports in both Fast Ethernet (2520) and Gigabit speeds (2520G).
Designed to transmit power and data to VoIP, video and wireless devices through a single Ethernet connection, ProCurve’s 2520 switches expands infrastructure capabilities and enable investment protection, supporting standards-based interoperability and a truly converged, cost-effective network at a price that fits business needs.
The 2520 switches help reduce power consumption by offering variable speed fans on the 24-port models and a fanless design on the eight-port models. These switches also help reduce energy consumption with automatic settings that place ports and LEDs in low power mode when not in use.
Customers can connect IP phones directly to the 2520 switch series without needing an additional power supply with support of Power Over Ethernet (PoE), reducing the complexity of IP phone deployments. Customers can also deploy wireless access points and video surveillance cameras in areas where a power outlet is not readily available by connecting these devices directly to the 2520 switches.
